David Intersimone is Vice President of Developer Relations and Chief Evangelist for Embarcadero. Known to many as David I, he is a passionate and innovative software industry veteran-often referred to as a developer icon-who extols and educates the world on Embarcadero developer and database tools and runs the company's rampant online community. David shares his visions as an active member of the industry speaking circuit and is tapped as an expert source by the media. He is a long-standing champion of architects, developers and database professionals and works to ensure that their needs are folded into Embarcadero's strategic product plans. Before Embarcadero, David spent more than 20 years with Borland in various evangelism, engineering, and development capacities, including creating the company's developer relations program. He previously served as Director of Product Services for Softsel Computer Products Inc. (now Merisel). David holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, California.
Stephen Ball is a Chartered IT Professional and product Evangelist for Embarcadero regularly speaking across Europe and Africa. Stephen is also the Associate Product Manager for InterBase. Stephen brings a unique sense of product and practical business insight from over a decades multi-national first-hand experience leading development teams on projects working with RadStudio and InterBase on products for a range of blue chip companies including Hilton, American Express, Virgin Active, Range Servant and Fitness First. Pawel Glowacki is Embarcadero's European Technical Lead for Delphi and RAD Studio technologies. Previously, Pawel spent over 7 years working as a senior consultant and trainer for Delphi within Borland Education Services and CodeGear. As well as working with Embarcadero customers across the region, he also represents Embarcadero internationally as a conference and seminar speaker. Jon Harrison has over 20 years of development and database experience and works as a Technical Pre-sales Manager for Embarcadero based in the UK. Jon has held previously held positions such as EMEA Product Line Manager for major IDE products such as JBuilder and previous to Embarcadero worked at Borland as a manager and consultant, then previously for Micro Focus as a Support Engineer.
Al Mannarino has more than 25 years of software development experience, including object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and developing and deploying production applications. He is currently a lead systems engineer and evangelist for Embarcadero Technologies. Prior to joining Embarcadero, Al spent three years working with CodeGear, a division of Borland that was acquired by Embarcadero in 2008. He also worked for five years as a lead systems engineer for Borland helping to sell application lifecycle management, software delivery optimization and developer tools solutions. Prior to Borland, Al served as a systems engineer for companies including Objectivity, Versant, Red Brick Systems, Information Builders, and was an electrical engineer for Grumman Aerospace where he performed real application implementations on complex electrical-mechanical systems. Al has a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College.
Jim is a long time Delphi developer with more than 20 years software development experience. He is the Lead Developer Evangelist for Embarcadero Technologies and leads the Embarcadero Most Valuable Professional (MVP) program. He speaks at conferences around the globe on Delphi and mobile development, and was the first person to earn the Delphi specific badge on Stack Overflow. Jason Vokes is Senior Director of Technologies and Marketing International at Embarcadero Technologies. He is an award winning developerwith 25 years of commercial software development experience in C/C++, Delphi and Java. Jason is the author of 'C++Builder for Dummies' and has written many technical white papers and articles on software development and associated IT topics. Jason works closely with Embarcadero partners and customers internationally and frequently speaks at technical and business conferences and seminars.
